IMPACTING OUR COMMUNITY

 

At PEMC, we believe our goal is to promote the kingdom of God in and through the relationships that we develop and the ministries that we initiate.  The heart of our congregation is to rebuild, restore and renovate lives with the love of Christ.       By connecting with people in multiple ways, we strive to make a life giving difference in Saugeen Shores.

 

Some of these initiatives are highlighted here.

 

 

Living Hope Food Basket

 

The Living Hope Food Basket is a local food bank, designed for those who find it financially difficult to afford basic food needs.

 

Living Hope Food Basket is located in the lower level of the Maple Square Mall in Port Elgin.

 

Hours of Operation are:

Tuesday & Thursday / Noon to 3pm

 

PEMC is a collection depot for food donations.

Please drop off your donations during PEMC office hours.

 

Suggested donations include:

Tea, Coffee, Baby Food, Pasta, Juice

Lunch snacks, Condiments, Sugar,

Kraft Dinner, Canned goods

Hygiene products

 

Fresh produce is also greatly appreciated!

Drop off directly at the Food Bank during hours of operation.

We provide community engagement opportunities for people to gather and enjoy various sports together.

These are offered during the week to adults

thru the fall & winter

Operation Christmas Child

 

Each year we gear up in the fall to fill Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.

Feel free to stop by the church and pick up some boxes to fill! (Annually - October to mid-November)
